The Mayflower House Museum is an 18th-century historic house museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts operated by The Mayflower Society, also known as the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. The Society bought Edward Winslow House in 1941.
The mansion was originally built in 1754 by Edward Winslow, a loyalist who fled to Halifax, Nova Scotia. He died shortly after and was buried at the Old Burying Ground (Halifax, Nova Scotia). (His son, Edward Winslow, made an important contribution to the formation of a New Brunswick loyalist colony.) Winslow is the great-granddaughter of Edward Winslow, the third Governor of Plymouth Colony. This luxurious house features 18th century decor and furnishings.
The offices and libraries of the Society are located behind the mansion.
