The basketball team of Monmouth Hawks represents Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, USA. School teams currently compete in the Atlantic Atlantic Atlantic Conference. They are currently led by head coach King Rice and play their home game at OceanFirst Bank Center. The Hawks have won more than five opponents of the power conference (UCLA, Notre Dame, USC, Georgetown, and Rutgers) and received votes in the AP poll for the first time during the 2015-16 season. They last performed at the NCAA Tournament in 2006.
