Moorestown Mall is a shopping center in Moorestown, New Jersey, owned by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust. The mall has over 90 stores and is anchored by Boscov's, Lord & amp; Taylor and Sears.

History
Originally opened for business in 1963, the Moorestown Mall underwent partial renovations in 1986 and was completely renovated in 1993-94, after a serious fire destroyed the northeast crossroads of the mall on December 23, 1992. Stores belonging to Strawbridge (later Macy's) were rebuilt. in 1999 after the fire. Before The Rouse Company purchased the center in December 1997, God & amp; Taylor has committed to open a shop in a mall. Nordstrom is also considering opening locations in South Jersey but they are not committed to mall expansion plans.
In an effort to protect Cherry Hill Mall, just 3 miles (4.8 km), The Rouse Company acquired Moorestown Mall. Pennsylvania Real Estate Trust Investments acquired Cherry Hill Mall, Echelon Mall, Moorestown Mall, Exton Square, Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Gallery in the East Market in exchange for Christiana Mall on March 7, 2003.
The Moorestown Mall is located just 3 miles (4.8 km) from the recently expanding Cherry Hill Mall to accommodate high end shops, but Moorestown is now undergoing its own renovation. Chipotle Mexican Grill has accompanied a new renovation. Activities in the parking lot in the northeast of the mall resulted in the new Pei Wei Asian Diner, along with Potbelly Sandwich Works, opening in summer 2008.
In 2011, Moorestown residents voted to allow liquor sales at Moorestown Mall to increase revenue at the mall. As a result, several polished upscale casual restaurants have been opened, highlighted by the first and only Yard House in Philadelphia and a restaurant from Garces Group.
On December 22, 2011, PREIT and Regal Entertainment Group announced their intention to build a 56,000 square foot 12-screen theater known as Regal Moorestown Mall 12 , which will feature Regal Premium Experience (RPX) is new. The theater took over 7 screens of the United Artists Theater at the mall, while the skate park that was previously adjacent was used as an expansion to a new theater that more than doubled the size of the theater today. In addition, development marks the first RPX theaters on the market, featuring digital projectors, surround sound, 2D and RealD 3D, stadium seats with high-backed rockers, and a Regal Express kiosk for automatic ticket purchases. Though opened with standard theater seats, all displays were renovated less than two years later to include full back chairs on all screens. The RPX Theater features the same new seating as the addition of tactile sound technology from ButtKicker.
By 2015, the food court in the mall is redeveloped and upgraded to provide a better environment that fits into a mix of upscale merchandising and demographics.
On January 4, 2017, it was announced that Macy would be closed as part of a plan to close 68 national stores. Shop closed in March 2017.
On February 8, 2018, it was announced that HomeSense, and Sierra Trading Post will be open in the former Macy room. It is not known when these two stores will open.
