Park Towne Place Apartment Homes is a historic apartment complex located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. The complex consists of four eight-story buildings (with floors one to nineteen with no thirteen), one-story office area, underground, flood-prone, parking garage, and swimming pool and spa complex (under renovation 2014 -15 ). It was designed by Milton Schwartz in International style, using reinforced concrete with limestone-tan brick, white marble, and bright aluminum trim and glass. it was built between 1957 and 1959. The apartment building is a rectangular cube.
In 2014, Aimco chose Tryba Architects from Denver to renovate historic apartments. Located in the Museum District of Philadelphia, opposite the Barnes Foundation and Rodin Museum, the rejuvenated complex features contemporary artwork from leading local and national artists purchased and specifically assigned to the project and inclusion in the Aimco Permanent Collection.
Park Towne Place was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, and received significant tax reductions as a consequence.
