Cosham railway station serves the former Cosham village, today on the northern outskirts of Portsmouth town in southern England.
Opened in 1848 by London and the South Western Railway (LSWR), it is located on the West Coastway Line that runs between Brighton and Southampton. It is currently serviced by the South Western Railway, Southern and Great Western Railway railway companies.
The station used to have a small goods page serving local freight trains around Portsmouth until 1982 when it was closed by the British Rail. The only remaining days are the old loading meter, with the original site built on.

Services
To the west, the line through Cosham leads to Portchester and Fareham, east to the intersection (part of the local "Railroad Triangle") between the lines leading south to Hilsea and Portsmouth and east to Bedhampton and Havant.
Although the nearest station to the east is Bedhampton, as of December 2007 there was no direct service calling at Cosham and Bedhampton. Passengers between these two stations must travel to Hilsea, the south station in the Portsmouth line, and change trains there. Today there is a very limited nighttime service provided by the South Western Railway.
The Great Western Rail Services did not call during the afternoon.
