Critical and commercial reception
The song failed to match Nash's previous "Foundation" success, both commercially and critically. It managed to reach the top outside the twenty big UK Singel Charts on its physical release. Slant Magazine felt the song failed to survive until "Foundations", while The Guardian felt the whole song was "unnecessary".
