Spring Meadow Lake State Park is a 61 hectare (25 ha) public recreation area west of Helena, Montana. After the gravel and mill site, the state park is centered around a man-made lake, fitted with springs, used for swimming, fishing, boat without motor, and scuba diving. The park also offers picnics, a mile-long trail around the lake, and ice fishing and ice skating in the winter. Largemouth bass, trout cutthroat westslope, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed are the main catches. A fishing dock was added to a 30 hectare (12 acre) lake in 2011.
