entertainer (in American English), also known as doona in Australian English, cloonie in some parts of Canada, or continental blanket (or just quilt ) or duvet in English English, is a type of bed made of two lengths of fabric or covered sewn together and filled with insulative material for warmth , traditionally down or feather, wool or cotton, silk, or polyester and other lower alternative fibers. Like a blanket, a blanket is generally placed on top of the bed sheet (and sometimes also a blanket). Duvets are another form of blankets, which are traditionally filled with feathers, though since the late 20th century are often made of synthetic fibers or alternatives down.
Blankets are sometimes covered for protection and long-term use. Blanket covers are in principle similar to pillowcases, usually covered with zippers or buttons.
In the UK the term entertainers is generally not used. This is instead called quilt (or quilt continental ), duvet or eiderdown . Blanket is different because it is thicker and is usually used without blankets or extra sheets.
Sometimes an entertainer is sold as part of a "bed in a bag", usually some kind with a handle containing the entire set of beds in the same or suitable pattern: blankets and tops, fitted sheets, pillowcover (s), and possibly pretend pillow (s). Some sets have blankets and covers (more popular in Europe) in quilts and topsheets. A more luxurious set can include a bed skirt and pillows.
Quilts are usually used in winter when it is very cold. Due to the thickness of the blanket or the amount of feather/feather or other stuff it has, one is isolated from the cold.
The size of the comforter according to the size of the bed: twin, full, queen, king, and kings. The size of the entertainer goes slightly larger than the size of the mattress to allow the bed side to drape. Typical sizes in the United States for blankets are:
- Twins = 64 "(width 163 cm) ÃÆ'â â¬" 87 "(length 221 cm)
- Queen's width/full = 87 "(221 cm) ÃÆ'â â¬" 87 "(length 221 cm)
- King = 101 "(257 cm) wide ÃÆ'â â¬" 90 "(229Ã, cm) long.

Construction
Charging - Comforters are filled with layers of natural ingredients like feather down, wool, or silk; alternatively, batting polyester is used. Blankets can also be made of feathers, usually with a pad of satin or silk. Attic filling determines the weight and insulation level. The blanket is stitched or plated to secure the filling and keep it evenly.
Shell/Covering - The outer shell of a blanket is usually made with cotton, silk, or polyester or blend, with varying amounts of yarn. The filler lettuce varies in design and color, often designed to coordinate with other beds.
